City of Clinton is a home-rule class city and the county seat of Hickman County, Kentucky.

The City of Clinton is Governed by a Mayor and six Councilmen/Councilwomen.

These persons are elected by the citizens of Clinton.

The Mayor is elected for a four-year term and the Councilmen/Councilwomen for a two-year term.

Frequently asked questions

Wastewater Bills are due the last Business Day of Each Month, a late fee will be assessed after that date.

Auto-Payments will be deducted on the last Business Day of each month.

If you will click on the “Pay Online” option at the top of the Website you can access your account, make payments, or sign up for auto-payment online.

You are required to enter your account number exactly as shown on your bill including the dashes.

Trash Bills will be due monthly effective April 1, 2025. It will be included in your Wastewater Monthly Bill. 

If you are signed up for Auto-Payment, your Trash Service Payment will be deducted on the last business day of each month.

Holiday Pickup Schedule

Unless otherwise noted, service that falls on the holiday will be completed the following day. In the event that a holiday falls on a regularly closed business day, service for that week will continue as normal.

Please remember to place trash cans out the night before as trash service will be running earlier than normal.

If your trash is not picked up on the scheduled day, please contact City Hall where we can make GFL aware of the issue.
